If youve been recently slacking on summer coaching, theres no better solution to ease back in than using the upcoming One Mile Boom run in Los Gatos.

The occurrence, named in honor from race director Scott Boom, will take place about July 8 at CrossFit Cadence concerning University Ave. Runners will cherish a fast, slightly alpine point-to-point course along gorgeous, tree-lined streets with feelings of nearby Vasona Body of water.

Proceeds from the expensive vacation event go toward City Power team Ministries, a non-profit organization serving the indegent and homeless in San Jose, S . f ., Oakland, Portland, Philadelphia and partnerships within 42 other countries world wide. Since 1957, City Organization International has provided life-saving meal, shelter, clothing, recovery products, youth outreach, camp designed for at-risk inner city young children, discipleship and other imperative care 365 days per annum.

This race allows me giving back to others my best joy of running, as well as raise money for a contributing factor that is close in order to my heart, that is without a doubt, helping the homeless, reported Race Director Scott Beat. This race not primarily raises money for Location Team, but also helps raise understanding the problem of homelessness within society. It's a real method of making a difference.
