When you're reducing weight, you have to earn sacrifices and sometimes that means having to quit some of the foods and beverages which happen to have come to represent a good season or occasion for your needs. Nothing sucks more than sitting with a Winter party watching everybody else drinking eggnog while you sip onto your glass of water.
But for anybody who is creative, you can find healthier and stronger alternatives to these excess weight and calorie laden drinks so that you could join in the fun without sacrificing excess fat loss.
Here are generally two recipes for lighter weight versions of favorite Winter season beverages, using protein shakes as being the base. Both recipes come thanks to the folks at Leading Nutrition, who were nice enough to supply us permission to reprint them for the readers.
High Peptids Peppermint Mocha
- 1 Best Protein Chocolate Shake
- 3 tsp carbohydrates free chocolate syrup and / or topping
- 1 serving instantaneous coffee
- 1/2 tsp peppermint create, more or less so that you can taste
- (optional) 1 dollop in sugar free whip cream
Directions: Pour Premier Peptids Chocolate shake and mister free chocolate syrup or topping perfectly into a large microwave safe cup and microwave on high for 45 seconds. Note, you should never bring to a steam. Remove from microwave and additionally add instant coffee and additionally peppermint extract. Stir to mix. Optional topping, add a fabulous dollop of sugar no cost whip cream. Enjoy!
High Required protein Eggnog
- 2 Premier Necessary protein Vanilla Shakes
- 1/2 mug egg substitute
- 2 Tbsp carbohydrates substitute like Stevia, around to taste
- 2 tsp rum extract
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp + a bit nutmeg, ground
- 2 pinches cinnamon, ground
Directions: From a medium saucepan heat at medium to medium higher the Premier Protein Tremble, egg substitute and sweetener. Stir continuously before the mixture thickens slightly, usually minutes. Note, do not bring towards a boil. Stir in any vanilla, rum, tsp nutmeg & smidge of cinnamon.
Remove from heat and pour to a heat resistant container, cover and refrigerate before eggnog has cooled (at lowest 3 hours).
Just in advance of serving, ladle your delectable high protein eggnog within glasses, and garnish each by having an extra little sprinkle in ground nutmeg & place cinnamon.
