Canned and packaged soups can be a go-to quick lunch break for dieters and workers in offices. They're portable, filling and come in several varieties. But they is sometimes a sodium bomb, which for most means water retention together with big-time bloating.
And to compound the case, "healthy" soups often tend to be higher in sodium compared to their regular counterparts, since food companies will increase the salt and sugar once they reduce the fat.
The health website HellaWella compiled a superb (and sometimes scary) directory 125 varieties of soups, from saltiest to smallest salty. The top a few salt bombs, with salt per serving:

But here is some better news -- they're the five least salty sauces. We've tried some of these which are indeed in need of an little "goosing. " But even adding a good number of dashes of salt or soy sauce will be far less sodium than what can be found in the soups above:
