Driving as many as McDonald's Golden Arches looks like a peculiar choice for just a diet columnist. But after i learned that the home on the 1, 090 calorie "big breakfast" plus 800-calorie burgers had built lighter fare, I wished to sample it for me. The verdict: super-sized winners for just a slimmer you! I've tested both Burger King's healthier and stronger foods and McDonald's dishes, and McDonald's is a new runaway winner for men and women and healthy eaters.

My advocated McDonald's foods and products for dieters include:

  • Premium Caesar Greens with Grilled Chicken: Only 190 calories, this contemporary, tasty salad contains good-for-you protein and veggies for your perfect diet lunch. Even ideal: Premium Bacon Farm Salad with Grilled Fowl for 230 calories.
  • Fruit'n'Yogurt Parfait: Pertaining to 150 calories, you find a delicious parfait made with yogurt and virtues of fresh fruit. Perfect for breakfast, some sort of snack, or dessert.
  • Blueberry Banana Fanatic Oatmeal: Oatmeal is beneficial to your health, reducing your cholesterol and providing fiber to stay you full for a long time.
