Scientists have discovered how the crunchy snack favorite contains more of this healthful antioxidant substances generally known as "polyphenols" than those "eat 5 a day" vegetable and fruit! Munch on air-popped popcorn for those perfect weight loss "need a specific thing crunchy" snack.

And as to those popcorn hulls? They secure the highest concentration of polyphenols plus fiber. Said Joe Vinson, Ph. N.: "Those hulls deserve much more respect. They are diet gold nuggets. The full information on popcorn's virtuous nutrion was revealed on the 243rd National Meeting & Exposition in the American Chemical Society (ACS) about March 25. The scientists said that polyphenols tend to be concentrated in popcorn (averaging just about 4 percent water) but diluted on the high percentage of water that typifies vegetables and fruits.
