Today's Dr. Oz of Show had a workforce of experts -- nutritionist Kate Geagan, owner Lisa Lynn and cocinero Aaron Big Daddy McCargo Junior. -- to help audiences navigate the sometimes tricky aisles of the local supermarket.

Like you'd probably expect, all three believed to focus time on the perimeter in the store -- where the new produce, dairy, meat and seafood sections live -- and steer clear of the aisles full involving sugary, salty overprocessed healthy foods.

But what shouldn't you choose to do at the grocery save? Here are some hints:

  • Kate Geagan, Nutritionist: Dont shop while on an empty stomach. Youll lead to spending a lot on impulse purchases that may drain your wallet. As a substitute, head to the market after having a big, healthy meal.
  • Lisa Lynn, your own trainer: Dont buy a great number of boxed and processed food. Theyre bad for your belly and for use on your health. Instead, head for those produce aisle.
  • Aaron Massive Daddy McCargo Jr., chef: Dont try it out without a game system. Youll end up blowing time and money. In lieu, go in with a subscriber base to save both.

Finally, the show featured three methods to use boxed cake mix inside a healthier way. While you can receive all the recipes along at the Dr. Oz Show blog, here's the winning recipe ingredients (alas, without nutrition knowledge, but if you choose to plug in the figures, SparkRecipes. com is an excellent resource):

Olive Fat Zucchini Cake

  • 1 package Classic Yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 hole water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 pot Greek style yogurt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1tsp. floor ginger
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. Himalayan light red salt
  • 1 Tbsp. molasses
  • 1 modest zucchini grated finely (about 1 cup)
  • 2 green beans grated finely (about 1 cup)
  • 1 goblet toasted walnuts (chopped alright in mini-processor)
  • 1/3 drink coconut (unsweetened grated)

Frosting:

  • 12 oz neufchatel cheese
  • 1/4 drink confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 tumbler pure maple syrup
  • zest of just one lemon
  • 1 Tbsp. fruit juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat cookware to 325 degrees. Intermix cake mix, water, ova, olive oil and yogurt and mix for approximately 2 minutes. Add seasoning, zucchini, carrots, walnuts, along with coconut and mix before combined.

Pour into a few 8-inch cake pans (greased in addition to lined with parchment). Prepare for 30-35 minutes. Great and frost.
