If you're a giant weight-loss company like NutriSystem, how will you outdo Jenny Craig snagging Mariah Carey or even Weight Watchers' ongoing spokesperson Jennifer Hudson? You enlist Janet Jackson.

A photo is circulating via the web that shows the queen of pop's younger sister smiling radiantly inside a full-page NutriSystem ad that could appear in the The month of january 2012 issue of Shape magazine. This ad touts the weight-loss program's cutting edge NutriSystem Success program, in which features new Chef's Family table entrees, a new necessary protein shakes, a My Each day 3 customized activity package and new transition along with maintenance plans.

We've written previously the new NutriSystem disruption and maintenance programs, and the Chef's Family table entrees are probably as a result of NutriSystem's celebrity Chef Culinary arts Council, which features chefs who took part with the cooking shows Top Chief cook, Top Chef Masters not to mention Iron Chef America.

While Jackson's weight has become pretty stable (and fairly spectacular) lately, she carries a well-known issue with yo-yo sticking to your diet, which she addressed for her recent book True People.

Jackson's media onslaught to make sure you announce her NutriSystem gig is scheduled to start Thursday on Good Early morning America and daily syndicated activity news shows. Kevin Frazier of The Insider talked with a Philadelphia radio show Saturday about his Thursday occupation interview with Jackson but leaking no beans about him / her NutriSystem venture. Need more evidence the NutriSystem deal is authentic? A photo was circulated on Twitter of Jackson and Frazier by having a NutriSystem booklet in the setting.

Update: NutriSystem just released a fabulous video of Jackson debating the program. You can notice it at left.
