It feels good to laugh on occasion. Everyone knows that. But laughter as the health-promoting exercise is not only widely practiced, despite that scientists have long known regarding the healing effects of wonderful humor.
In his best-selling guide, Anatomy of an Illness as Perceived because of the Patient (W. W. Norton & Corp., 1979), Norman Cousins describes her own recovery from a life-threatening diseases, which he credits inside large parts to wit.

During my internship like a clinical dietitian, I observed these effects more often than once.
