Chef Devin Alexander, author of your Biggest Loser cookbook string, hosted former Biggest Loser contestants yesterday evening at her traditional pre-finale evening meal. The season 12 finish is tonight at 9 upon NBC.
Alexander, whose latest book could be the Biggest Loser Quick & Effortless Cookbook, served a variety of dishes from her guides.
Guests included time of year 11 winner Olivia Infirmary and sister, season 11 finalist Hannah Curlee, twins babies Don and Dan Evans (season 11), Frado Dinten (season 10), At the Ruiz (season 10), Sunlight and O'Neal Hampton (season 9), time of year 7 finalist Tara Costa, Jackie plus Dan Evans (season 5), season 2 at-home successful Pete Thomas and finalist Seth Word and numerous others.
What where the contestants served with the dinner? Here's the menus:
- Carne Asada Applied Jennie-o Turkey Tenderloins, adapted belonging to the Biggest Loser Flavors from the World Cookbook
- Mixed Green Salad with black coffee beans, corn, tomatoes and a good Homemade cilantro Lime vinaigrette
- Southwest Filled Sweet Potato bar, presenting Jennie-O Extra Lean Floor Turkey, from the Largest Loser Quick & Simple Cookbook
- Coleslaw with Apple Cilantro Vinaigrette, from the main Loser Family Cookbook
- Roasted Green Pepper Dip with Vegetable plants & Doctor Krackers, in the Biggest Loser Cookbook
Dessert appeared to be a sneak peak -- Alexander is implementing a line of 50-to-60-calorie brownies termed Devinly Delights. Flavors should include chocolate-orange, chocolate-peanut butter, chocolate-mint along with chocolate-raspberry.
Alexander offers some techniques for keeping your holiday feeding on light and tasty:
- Add frozen fruit prefer grapes or blueberries to holiday cocktails to have enjoyment from a drink without having an excessive amount of alcohol and so several empty sugars. I love filling a bottle of wine flutes with frozen grapes then pouring within the champagne.
