Just in period for must-slim-down-for-the-beach season comes a whole new fad diet: the hard-boiled ovum diet. The concept is plenty to make the Jack on the Box fall off his or her box.

Premise: hard-boiled eggs are often the "perfect" protein food. For that reason, say these diet promoters, by eating 1 hard-boiled egg cell before every meal, and 1 egg mid-morning plus 1 mid-afternoon, you'll "magically" shed the pounds without food cravings.

We did your math: if you stick to this eggy diet, you'll eat about 450 towards 500 calories more each (depending on how big the the eggs). While supposedly you obtain so filled up about this egg-stravaganza that you won't want too much food, it's equally possible you get so sick of eggs that you're going to pig out on much more food (apologies to Pass up Piggy! ) to compensate for required to them.
