"It is extremely much a psychological, psychological battle, " he said to Today co-host Ann Curry. "My plan immediately is I'm focused upon running the L. SOME SORT OF. marathon. That's my focus now. After that, then I'll have to find a whole new focus. "
Focusing on things apart from food is one opportunity for him to keep off of the 220 pounds that she lost, he said currently.
"Its still hard in my experience to admit my cuisine addiction, " he explained to us. "It's hard in my circumstances to admit it, but I can not think of too many main reasons why a person would are able to 445 pounds.
"Clearly I must renegotiate my relationship along with food, and see food for what it truly is, " he said. "Food will not be a reward. If you will find there's reason to eat a item, then, yeah, get and eat that merchandise. If Im eating using boredom... or stress, then I need to get some alternatives -- I can't come back to that lifestyle. "
That alternative can be sharing his story of fat reduction, which he plans to carry out often.
"I'm bound to pay it frontward, backward, sideways, up, lower and around, " he or she said. "I feel obligated just from being over the show. "
One place bigger already started is for the high school he educates and coaches at -- Desert Ridge Senior high school in Mesa, Ariz.
"I've recently been working with the face varsity coach at Desert Ridge School, Jeremy Hathcock, and we're working at building an off-season program. " He also desires to talk with the existing school about combatting my childhood obesity.
"I'm gonna acquire those kids to where they think that they have some strength. I want to empower them for you to take control of the destiny, " he reported. "We need to nip this with the bud, and it's gotta launch somewhere, so it should start at Desert Ridge College. "
